Favorite Spica Journey Memory:

I was so worried she was going to be cranky with the cast on. The next morning after the cast was on, she woke up with the biggest smile!

Biggest Lesson Learned:

Take it one day at a time. It goes by faster than you think!

What Do You Wish You Knew:

Wish I did more research on car seats. We got in the car to go home and the car seat we bought didn't fit.

Favorite Gear or Must Have Item:

Ergo!!! I carried my sweet girl everywhere in the ergo. I still could snuggle with my girl this way!

Final Thoughts or Advice:

I made a paper chain, one for each day she was in her cast. We took a ring off each day. It was a great way to visually see the progress we were making. The picture of her taking off the last ring right before we headed in for the cast removal will be etched in my memory forever! It goes by fast. Do everything you normally would. Don't stop your life because you have a baby in a cast. It's temporary!
