FAVORITE SPICA JOURNEY MEMORY:

One of my favorite memories from our spica journey was coming home from my daughter's surgery and seeing her eyes light up and smile when she saw her big brother at home. It felt so nice to be home in a familiar setting and see my daughter feel at ease again, despite the cast.

BIGGEST LESSON LEARNED:

Life still goes on, even with a baby in a spica. And life can even be FUN and okay with a baby in a spica!

WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU KNEW:

I wish I knew that the spica experience wasn't the deep dark hole I dreaded it to be. My daughter was still her same happy spunky self and she helped me have the strength to stay positive as well!

Definitely our spica chair!

FINAL THOUGHTS OR ADVICE:

Don't be afraid to continue with your normal life and bring your spica baby along on vacations, to parks, etc. Our daughter was content to sit in her stroller and watch her brother play, as long as it was cool enough weather.
